Rush School Students Raise Money for Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation

Students and faculty at Eleanor Rush School raised over $1500 for the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation. This wonderful organization raises awareness of teen cancer and provides much needed support and cheer to teens who are hospitalized for long periods of time. Bandannas were sold and worn at Rush School in honor of this cause. Student Council members and teachers met with Mr. DiNatale, founder of the foundation and presented him with a very large check. His daughter, Alicia Rose, who sadly lost her battle with cancer, was the inspiration behind the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation. Student council advisers hope to include the entire district in this worthwhile fundraiser next year.
