Accused Cinnaminson Bank Robber Held on $100K Bail

Aquamena Hawthorne, 36, of Willingboro, allegedly held up four banks this summer. She wasn't charged in the Burlington County cases until Tuesday.

A woman accused of robbing four South Jersey banks, including one in Cinnaminson, was held on $100,000 bail Tuesday, according to the Burlington County Times.

Aquamena Hawthorne, 36, of Willingboro, was arrested this summer on charges she held up the four banks over an 18-day period in June and July 2012. One of the banks Hawthorne is accused of robbing is Cinnaminson’s Susquehanna Bank on Route 130.

In each case, Hawthorne allegedly demanded money from the bank tellers and told them she had a gun, though she never showed one. Police tracked her down using a license plate reader.

Hawthorne had been held in Camden County on charges of robbing two banks there in Cherry Hill and Audubon. But she was never formally charged for the alleged Burlington County robberies in Cinnaminson and Willingboro, the Times reported. Hawthorne was charged during the Feb. 19 court appearance in Burlington County and assigned $100,000 bail in the case.

Thus the basis of Minority Report. Burlington County got itself a couple of Pre-Cogs.

Thanks for the catch, fixed it.
