The Cinnaminson High School Friends of Rachel Club conducted a relief effort at the school to donate much-needed supplies to Hurricane Sandy victims.

The idea came from junior Dalton Brauckmann and was carried out with the help of the Friends of Rachel Club as well as student council members.

"I wanted to do something after watching what the hurricane did to the Jersey shore so I figured this to be an appropriate effort for the Friends of Rachel Club as an act of kindness," Brauckmann said.

An SUV was filled with cases of water, diapers, baby wipes, baby food, formula, and toiletries. The CHS student council also donated a $250 check which will be given to The Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund. The items were taken Jersey shore for delivery.

This picture shows what kind of person our Mayor is. The article says that "CHS Student Council" donated a $250 check. So why on Earth does he have his grubby little paws on the check at all?? Photo op?? And yes, he is parked in a Fire Lane with his car which has no front license plate. Unbelievable arrogance!
On another note, nice job to Dalton and the other members of the student council for your efforts.

Lamb Chop—Mayor Brauckmann's "grubby little paws" were on the check because he drove it down to the shore along with the donated items.

"Word" Christina! What a horrible man that Mayor of ours is! Parking his personal vehicle in a fire lane to load up donated items from students and then using his personal vehicle to drive all the way down the shore to transport those items himself. And how dare he get presented a check so he can pass it on. Who do these kids think he is, our Mayor or something???Again Lamb Chump, what do you do to help others??? You’re pathetic to even take a shot on this story. I bet you don’t have a hair on your “you know what” to ever say something to this man yourself….Truly a cowardly act.

Been there quite a few times Frankie, donating my own time and my OWN money. And I know his car doesn't have a front plate because he never put one on it since he has had it because apparently he is a Police Officer and doesn't have to obey the law. If Christina will leave it up there, but I doubt it…… A picture of the FRONT of the vehicle is now posted above. Bravo…….

No Lamb Chop, I will not leave the photo up there and already deleted it. The photo has nothing to do with the story whatsoever so it was taken down. Just as a picture of anything else would be. If you want to post your picture, post it somewhere relevant—not on a story about Hurricane Sandy donations.

I am hoping our mayor has forgotten to put the tag and will do so now that you called it to his attention. It would be very embarrassing for Cinnaminson should he get ticketed for such an infraction. Newspaper and television reporters would have a field day with that story.

Leeroy Jenkins now I wonder where I heard this name before...
oh yeah now I remember, do you?
I suppose you are above the law as well?

Just like true politicians. When you are caught doing something wrong, drag someone else into it and hope it it takes the heat off of you, how pathetic.
