Well, folks...the storm has passed. Now the real work begins. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, as you deal as you must with the aftermath.

I have no intention of politicizing the storm. I pray only for the safety of you and your loved ones...

Let the first responders do their jobs, and the utility workers, theirs. If asked, assist - otherwise, it is best if we wait patiently. Where possible, look in on your neighbors. Make sure they are okay.

Watch each others' backs, folks. We can weather this in exemplary fashion, or succumb to our own baser nature.

For the next week, pay close attention to the good you see done by your fellow man. The media will only be reporting the defeats, never the victories.

Patience is a virtue, and a difficult one to abide with. We will all need much patience over the next few days, as lines form for fuel, and as we wait our turn for restoration of our utilities. We're fortunate that the temperature is relatively mild - things could have been much worse.

Be sure and thank those in your community who help out when you see them over the next coming weeks. They've earned your thanks, but they only rarely receive them.
That's another change that is long overdue.

Personally, our family escaped with no injuries, and property damage can be repaired. Today, each of us knows what is really important.

Are all 20 in Pheasant Run? We have reported it and have only heard that we will have power by Nov. 5. My family is cold and tired of darkness.

We don't have power either on Erlington, Mt. Vernon and some of White Birch. We also have a big tree laying in the road on Erlington and not sure why it hasn't been cut up yet? Please let us know when we can expect the tree to be gone. Thanks.

There's about 20 houses near rush school without power too. If you count how many wires that are down on the list above its about 20 so maybe that what they meant.

Oh, well someone needs to get their facts straight. I can't stand misinformation when my family is cold.

Um...there are 13 houses on Saxony Drive w/o power still at 7:30pm on Wednesday night

There are around twenty on "erlington drive. I think the article dropped a zero.

Hey, if U want to help cut the tree yourself if there is no wires down....there are over 800,000 people without power so the list is long its not like this is a small storm...just remember patience is a virtue.....so suck it up

During my interview with the mayor, he said about 20. Now, I may have misheard him. I will get an updated number in the morning. Sorry for the confusion.

I have sucked it up with no power and personally don't care about not having electric but to say 20 homes is very inacurate as you can see by the posts above. My real concern is all the downed wires and kids going to school tomorrow!

I have put an editor's note in the story. I just spoke with Mayor Brauckmann. He meant 20 neighborhoods/clusters in the township. Slight miscommunication. People still need to make sure PSEG is aware of their outage and call the number listed in the story. Thanks everyone for bringing the error to my attention.

Well I just heard that we have power back on Waterford.. So hopefully you guys will have it soon too. I feel for you all.. It is very frustrating.

Powers on in Pheasant Run! Yeah!

We still have no power on Erlington and I saw several people that have called PSEG and they have an automated system saying they are aware of the outage and it'll be fixed by nov 5th which seems a bit long. Please try to get this problem fixed sooner. Cinnaminson says they can't fix until PSEG does something about the tree and PSEG says they can't do anything until the twp removes the tree. Can someone get accurate information to fix the problem and quickly as possible?

The tree on Erlington and on Saxony are both township owned trees as the have fallen from that small patch (no pun intended Patch) of township owned property. I agree that as long as the trees are up against the wires and transformers, they should NOT be touched by anyone. PSE&G and Public Works need to communicate on how these jobs are going to completed before a child gets injured or worse dies. Saxony is the road adjacent to New Albany School for God sake!

Can you imagine how it is for the people living along the Jersey Coast who have had the only home they have destroyed? What we, in Cinnaminson, have experienced is nothing compared to those people. I guess we all will need some patience as only so much can be done at a time. At least we are alive. Wasn't aware until reading the post how many were w/o power in Cinnaminson......wonder why the opened the schools if there are so many wires and trees down?????

Christine, what about the trees that are still laying on the wires in Rolling Greens, where we have no sidewalks?...who decides who has responsibility for the tree if it's 4 feet from the curb?...Oh yaeh...still no power on Buttonwood Lane for about 15 homes as of 12:30 PM Thursday

The kids needed to get back to school!...If they were at home, they'd be out playing anyway...and the wires are still there whether they are playing or going to school...and the additional burden for parents that have to pay additional babysitters, or miss work themselves to watch their kids is creating more financial stress on the citizens when they have less money than ever before!

I just saw a man from PSE&G stopped and was looking at the Wedgewood tree/wire mess..maybe he's formulating an action plan!...we'll keep our fingers crossed!

I was just told by a friend that around 8pm this evening, PSE&G were working on the Wedgewood/Wynwood power lines/transformer. I can not tell if they are still there though. Just watched the weather and they are tracking another possible coastal storm. Hopefully everyone without power will have it soon!!!!

Just an update and apology. My daughter got on the bus this morning and spoke to the girl in question in my statement from above. It seem as though the bus driver tried going up the street that was closed even though they told her it was blocked and then dropped her off in a different location. Thank goodness. I apologize for the misinformation! I would like to know why the bus drivers were obviously not made aware of the street closures.

How would they chat with each other if they do not have CB radios....interesting

John, I am confused by your statement. If you are referring to the bus drivers knowing about road closures, read the article above. They are clearly named and the township is aware of them. Why did the school board not contact the township or vise versa to find this information before picking the kids up for school.. And the bus drivers do have radios on the buses so they can be in contact with the transportation department.
