Cinnaminson Police: Philly Man Tried to Steal $250 Worth of Laundry Detergent

A Palmyra man was charged after a domestic dispute with girlfriend.

 

Cinnaminson Police arrested a Palmyra man June 18 after he was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in a Cinnaminson hotel, officials said.

Jay P. Graffen, 33, of the 100 block of West 4th Street, was also found to be in violation of a restraining order with the same victim. At the station, an outstanding Middle Township warrant with $2,500 bail was discovered.

Graffen was charged with simple assault under the domestic violence act and violating a final restraining order. Bail was set at $5,000 full cash.

He was then remanded to Burlington County Jail in default of bail and the outstanding warrant.

Cinnaminson Police arrested John J. Moorer, 46, of the 2000 block of South 21st Street in Philadelphia, June 18 after he was stopped by ShopRite loss prevention officers.

Moorer was leaving the store with eight bottles of Tide, five bottles of Tide with Downey and two cases of Deer Park bottled water, valued at $250.84.

Moorer was brought to the station, processed, charged with shoplifting and remanded to Burlington County Jail in default of $1,500 cash bail.
