Cinnaminson Woman Arrested on DUI Charges, Police Say

The woman was found in her running car near the Delaware River.

A Cinnaminson woman was arrested for driving under the influence when police found her impaired in her parked, but running, car on Bank Avenue near the Delaware River, police said.

The driver, Suzanne Abele, 38, was arrested at the scene and taken to a hospital for treatment.

White on patrol in the area of Bank and Garfield avenues, Palmyra Police saw a vehicle running with the driver appearing to be asleep. As police approached the car, they saw vomit on the ground outside of the door.

A strong odor of alcohol was coming from inside the car, police said. Police learned the driver—who was impaired—had consumed nearly half a bottle of alcoholic egg nog.

Abele was later released on traffic summonses pending court.

Oh boy, car was running and vomit next to car and she was arrested for drinking, who's to say she did not drink until she parked her car, they assumed she was drunk before she parked the car....not very police work....oh well

I hope I never get arrested in Cinnaminson for anything. All I would think about is how badly Patch would blow up my spot.

Not only was your comment not funny or insulting, but you managed to embarrass yourself by presenting your god awful grammatical skills. I guess it's not just you being lazy since you actually put out the effort to capitalize the "U". I'm also not sure why you took offense to my post, but then again, it's hard making sense of the world when you have the mental capacity of a 3rd grader.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND ENJOY THE CHRISTMAS SPIRITS. I wish all of my Jewish friends a Happy Hanukah. As far as that made up BS holiday they call Kwanza, the media should be ashamed of themselves for even giving it any recognition. It is a joke and has NO significance.

Hey John, "U" know you've won the debate when your opponent (Cinnacide) responds to your spelling or grammer rather than the topic.

@tocman, thanks but it was no debate, it was not cinnaminson police and the article said so, she lived there but I have a concern about why she was arrested, sitting in a running car does not mean she was driving drunk but I am not the police....oh well....

That is not what he was saying at all. Cinnacide was saying how it is not any of the publics business what mistakes people make. It creates rumors and completely ruins your name when none of us know her situation or her side at all. I didn't know the patch was meant for gossipy articles like this one.

R U kiddin' us Pat? The subject article is what you call "hard news" No speculation, no opinions just reporting facts as released (lawfully) by the Cinnaminson police department. Do you think this is facebook? Wake up, this is the real world can't you
tell the difference?
