Cinnaminson Wrestlers Learn Their Seeds for Region 7 Tourney
Nick Dell-Priscoli earns a first-round bye, while another Pirates wrestler is seeded No. 1. Eight in all will compete at the Region 7 Tournament in Robbinsville.
Cinnaminson’s eight wrestlers headed to the Region 7 tournament this week got their first look at first-round opponents.
The Trentonian published the full seedings for the Region 7 tournament. Several Cinnaminson wrestlers came out on the better side of the seeding versus their first opponent. Christian Cosgrove scored a No. 1 seed for the 220-pound weight class, while Jason Bowen got No. 3 for the 126-pound class.
Nick Dell-Priscoli, who won a District 26 title this weekend, received a first-round bye at 170 pounds.
Cinnaminson’s seeds in the Region 7 tournament are:
106 pounds: No. 9 Jeremy Bowen (Cinnaminson) vs. No. 8 Blake Rogers (Rancocas Valley)
126 pounds: No. 14 Johnny Cox (Hightstown) vs. No. 3 Jason Bowen (Cinnaminson)
145 pounds: No. 10 Pat Morton (Cinnaminson) vs. No. 7 Crawford Oswald (Haddonfield)
170: pounds: No. 7 Nick Dell-Priscoli (Cinnaminson) to wrestle the winner of No. 15
Quinn Ruble (Seneca) vs. Frank Varallo (Camden Catholic)
182 pounds: No. 10 Omer Kaya (Bordentown) vs. No. 7 Ryan Addlesberger (Cinnaminson)
195 pounds: No. 10 Zack Sereci (Cinnaminson) vs. No. 7 Michael Whittington (Trenton Central)
220 pounds: No. 12 Tim O’Shaughnessy (Allentown) vs. No. 1 Christian Cosgrove (Cinnaminson)
Heavyweight: No. 11 Reginald Charles (Hamilton North) vs. No. 6 James Kennedy (Cinnaminson)
Regions start Feb. 27 at Robbinsville High School in Mercer County. The top three in each weight class move to state bouts, NJ.com reports.
