Donate a Coat This Winter

Burlington Coat Factory in Cinnaminson is holding a special drive.

in Cinnaminson is participating in the One Warm Coat campaign to collect coats and distribute them to those in need this winter season.

The company is also teaming up with television show Good Morning America on its fifth annual drive to help spread the word.

Those who donate coats to the Cinnaminson location will get 10 percent off an entire purchase at the store.

“We have always been committed to helping our neighbors and community … Warm Coats enables us to extend our efforts across the entire nation,” Thomas Kingbury, president and CEO of Burlington Coat Factory, said in a release.

In fact, are encouraged to help out with the campaign. Parents, teachers and students are being asked to take part in the Warm Coats and Warm Hearts School Challenge on Dec. 19 and Dec. 20. The school that collects the most coats in the country and brings them to Burlington Coat Factory on Dec. 21 will be mentioned on air on Good Morning America.

Last month, local colleges such as Rutgers University, Temple University and University of Pennsylvania participated in the drive.

Coats can be dropped off at Cinnaminson’s Burlington Coat Factory location in the Shoppes from now until Jan. 16.
