Final 2012 Township Committee Meeting Tonight
Township is expected to award a demolition contract for former service station.
Township committee members meet tonight in the last scheduled public meeting of 2012. During Christmas week, the members will meet once again for a closeout session—which is too open to the public.
Tonight's agenda can be found to the right.
Some highlights include:
- Presentation by the police department
- Award contract for Barone's demolition
- Purchase of Dodge Charger lost in accident
- Purchase of a used trash truck
- Six public hearings on six separate ordinances
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Cinnaminson Township Municipal Building.

Are you people around Manor Rd anytime after 6pm or on the weekends? The Charger that was given to the Public Safety Director is nowhere to be found. So I guess we do need another Charger!

It says a new Charger to replace one "lost in accident". Is there any info on what happened? Was it totaled? Anyone injured? Who was at fault?
Also, a follow-up to Open your eyes....... Is the PSD using the Twp Charger for his commute? Can't attend the meeting tonight, if someone could post answers to these questions.

@Bull Pitt, there has been nothing printed about the "lost in accident" Charger...I do not know if it was a Police Charger or the one used by PSD and I am assuming that it was for him to use to go back and forth. So at this point in time its anyones guess about the Charger...One of the things being discussed tonight is from the Police Dept. and another about a Trash Truck....(used)....Hope someone can give us better answers....happy holidays

Christina, are there any details about the dodge charger and the accident? It seems this is first time the accident was ever mentioned. Thank you

Yes—at last night's meeting, officials said the public safety director was involved in an accident and the Charger needs to be replaced. That was the first I heard of it. I am finding out more details today and will write an update story when I get them.

Forget a new Charger. King needs a porsche!
