How to Vote By Mail in New Jersey
Any registered voter can vote by mail in New Jersey for any reason. Here's how.
Election Day is fast approaching—but what if you can’t make it to the voting booth on Nov. 6? Don’t let your ballot go uncast: vote by mail.
You don’t need to justify why you want to vote by mail in New Jersey. Perhaps you’ll be in meetings all day on Nov. 6, traveling or just don’t feel like waiting in line at your local voting location.
To vote by mail in Cinnaminson, you must already be registered and:
1. Complete the Burlington County vote by mail application (English) (Spanish)
2. Mail the completed application to:

3. Or apply in person at the county clerk’s office (49 Rancocas Rd., Room 104, Mount Holly)
Vote by mail applications must be received by mail seven days before the election. You can apply in-person until 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5. After your voting eligibility is confirmed, you’ll be mailed or handed a ballot.
All completed ballots must be received before the polls close on Election Day. Once you’ve applied to vote by mail, you cannot vote at your local polling location for this election.

Another option is to just use an absentee ballot. If you know that you won't be in town or available to vote on election day just stop by the Cinnaminson municipal building on Riverton Road and pick up an absentee ballot from the clerk's office. Monday-Friday during business hours.

Only absentee ballot applications may be picked up at the municipal clerk's office.
ALL absentee/vote by mail ballots for the November General Election must be issued by the Burlington County Clerk's Office. That application and issue process spelled out in Title 19 of the New Jersey Statutes is the only method available to voters in this state.

"Absentee" has been replaced by the "Vote by Mail" ballot. See P.L. 2009 ch.79 amending the NJ Statutes. http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2008/Bills/PL09/79_.PDF It is no longer called "Absentee" because there is no longer a requirement to be "Absentee". Vote by Mail does not require an excuse or reason, anyone may vote by mail. As stated below, Ballots may ONLY be obtained from the County Clerk's Office in Mount Holly.
