Township Website Improvements in Works
Does Cinnaminson's website need some work done? The township administrator thinks so.
Unhappy with Cinnaminson Township's website?
The township plans to make improvements, but is waiting on proposals to come in before it can move forward.
Administrator Frank Locantore said he has already received one proposal for improvements to the site, and was waiting on at least one more before he can form any kind of plan action.
He explained the improvements would focus on making the website more "dynamic, interactive and user-friendly," not to mention more modern. Locantore said he'd like to make it easier to get out information to the public via the site.
He added, "There's a good number of senior citizens who do not have a computer, so we need to make sure to develop methods to notify them as well."
The township doesn't have to bid the project if the cost doesn't reach the bid threshold—$17,500—which Locantore said would not happen with the changes he intends to make.
"This should not have a significant impact on the budget," he said.
There's no specific timeline for improving the website, though Locantore said, "I hope to get it done as quickly as possible."
