MedExpress to Open Wednesday; Soft Opening, Ribbon-Cutting Today
The urgent care facility, now located in the Mainline Center, will be open 12 hours a day, seven days a week.
MedExpress, the urgent care facility in the former Hollywood Video location in Mainline Center, is holding a grand opening celebration today. It will officially open to the public Wednesday.
The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony slated for 1 p.m.
MedExpress' model is "somewhere between a primary care physician and an emergency room," said Steve DeLozier, vice president of operations for MedExpress, in a November 2012 article for Cinnaminson Patch.
“People need medical care when they least expect it,” DeLozier said.
The facility will be equipped with x-ray machines and IVs and treat anything from lacerations to asthma attacks to the flu.
MedExpress also offers treatment for workplace injury and job-related medical medical issues to employers and their employees through its CorporateCare program, according to the company.
DeLozier said the plan to open in Cinnaminson was easy, calling the township a community "on the upswing."
"We knew we were definitely going to expand in New Jersey,” DeLozier said. “Cinnaminson is part of what we saw as a great community for MedExpress. It’s a population that might be underserved.”
Starting Wednesday, MedExpress will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. It's located at 1210 Route 130 North, Suite 1438. The phone number is 856-829-0407.

I'm so happy to see you in town. I've used urgernt care facilities a few times over the last couple of years and had a great experience. I'm so glad to see you so close to home. Will you be providing pediatric care?

Did you read the part of a 'soft opening' and not a GRAND opening. ? There is a difference.

Businesses hold a "grand opening" ceremony two days before they open, the day they open, or two months after they open. It means nothing—as far as my experience goes. I've been writing these types of stories for nearly 10 years. Some places want to get the kinks out, some places schedule their events around dignitaries and other politicians, etc. I know some of you would LOVE for there to be a conspiracy somewhere but I just don't see one here...;)

Could everyone stop explaining themselves. It would be great to keep the posts on topic and give more detailed info about the facility that might help those who need it. Like insurance? which? appointments? what clinic doesn't do that er would be required. Can appointments be made, wait time if emergency, you know the important stuff. I don't care what a soft opening, grand opening is. Doesn't give the public necessary info. Stop the bravado; give us detail instead. And stop with the petty arguing. This is not like a retail store; this is a medical facility for real needs. Thanks much

dajoepa75 haven't you figured it out. This publication(?), blog or website or whatever you want to call it is used by the "regulars" as what they used to call a chat room. Yes, most of the information and stories are published by professionals who do a great job of covering news items especially local stories. But the people who comment for the most part are the same small group who have something to say on just about every topic whether it is applicable to the subject or not. Right Ric & John and especially Frank? No matter how mundane, ordinary or boring ,they will chime in every time and then reply to anyone who acknowledges them. I am guilty of doing what they all do ....which is to respond to the one who posts a message rather then to the actual story. Got a life anyone?

@tocman, no your wrong, I will not say anything thats going to offend a person....I will however say somethings pertaining to comments made that are funny...I am not like Frank....I do not put a comment about 35 mins after the story hits the site....Some of dajoepa75 remarks are right on target....nothing in the first article said anything about insurance, appointments or anything about the services.....My comment was for the fact that its needed....sorry if I offend U if my comments are in bad taste....flooding, taxes and schools are some of my topics as well as speeders traveling on the side streets, these are serious problems which cuts in police do not help....thanks for the information, have a good one....

dajoepa75—Actually, all that information is in the first story I wrote—the one in which I linked to. We're not advertising the business, so if someone wants more detailed information, he or she may want to call. The staff I met is quite friendly and I'm sure they'd answer your questions.
After meeting everyone there, I think MedExpress will be a great neighbor.

We also know that many people, such as illegals and uninsured, use ERs as their private physicians, will that be allowed here? Or is it, "no pay-go away"?? I don't want to bring my child in for something serious and have a bunch of feeders in front of me with a splinter and a hangnail!!
