Palmyra Woman, 22, Charged in Burglary
Amanda Thompson allegedly stole an Xbox from a Palmyra home.
Palmyra Police arrested a 22-year-old Palmyra woman after fingerprints from the scene of a burglary matched hers.
Amanda L. Thompson was arrested on Sept. 20 and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief, police said.
On Aug. 20, around 9:23 a.m., Palmyra officers responded to a home on Van Sant Drice, off Temple Boulevard, in Palmyra, to investigate a burglary. A resident of the home found the home's back door was damaged.
The burglar took an Xbox gaming console along with accessories and games.
Witness statements, coupled with fingerprints, put Thompson at the scene during the crime.
Thompson was unable to post the $37,500 bail and was ultimately lodged in Burlington County Jail in Pemberton. She is currently awaiting trial.
