Police: Two Arrested at Local Motel
Police found a stolen car that led to drug arrests at a Cinnaminson motel.
Cinnaminson Police arrested two Philadelphia men found in a Route 130 hotel room on several charges after police found a stolen car they drove in the hotel's parking lot.
Around 2 a.m., Dec. 22, 2012, a Cinnaminson officer was on patrol at the Hallmark Inn. A computer check revealed a car parked in the lot was reported stolen on Dec. 3, 2012 in Philadelphia. The vehicle, a 2011 Toyota Camry, was parked and unoccuppied, police said.
Police found the room the subjects were in. While interviewing them, the subjects were in possession of several types of prescription medication not in their original containers. Police also found prescriptions belonging to others not on location. One of the accused was also found to be in possession of a dagger.
Police arrested Jeffrey Presock, 29, of Ryerson Road in Philadelphia. He was charged with prescription drugs not in original container, possession of controlled dangerous substance, distribution of controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful taking of a means of conveyance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of prohibited devices. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.
Brian J. Stoppel, 38, of Friendship Street in Philadelphia was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and was lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of $20,000 bail.
