Rain, Sleet, Snow in Today's Forecast: Find Out When

Meteorologists are tracking a winter storm.

It wasn’t a white Christmas, but it may be a white day-after-Christmas. At least for a little bit.

Meteorologists from the National Weather Service in Mt. Holly are tracking an east coast storm and say there will be some snow and sleet this afternoon. However, right before the evening rush hour, that precipitation is supposed to change to rain, said Mark DeLisi, meteorologist.

The rain could be heavy tonight, officials said.

Wind will also be a factor. Gusts could hit 31 miles per hour today but average 13 to 20 mph. Tonight, we should feel an east wind of 16 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

After tonight, there could be up to two inches of precipitation.

Tonight’s low will be in the mid- to upper-30s.

Rain is likely Thursday early morning, with a high near 45.

The NWS has posted a flood watch through Thursday morning. Everyone who was caught off guard by last week's flooding should start taking precautions.

Maybe you should hold the sarcasm if you don't know all the circumstances - some of us are watching the creek creeping closer to the house, and trying to move what we can to higher ground, for the second time in less than a week. And there are people in town who are not as financially well off as others, who can't afford to turn up the heat without considering the added cost, not to mention what happens when the flooding takes out the power. While some people don't realize it, not all of Cinnaminson lives in your carefree "first world".

@Cindy, do not worry about the guy above, he needs glasses to read an article, he saw an article about cinnaminson police arresting a DUI and it was not even our police. I guess its assumed that if your sitting in a car with it running your a drunk driver...the delware river is nice to watch....

The Delaware is nice to watch this time of year. I enjoy following that up with a nice game of "stare at the sun"
