UPDATED: Witnesses: Fight Led to Stabbing at Cinnaminson Wawa
Emergency crews are on the scene of the reported stabbing at Cinnaminson's Wawa store.
Update, 1:45 p.m., June 27: The identities of the suspect and victim are in Updated: Sicklerville Woman Stabbed Another in Face, Neck in Wawa Parking Lot.
Update, 10 a.m., June 27:
A fight between two women at Wawa on Church Road Wednesday morning led to one stabbing the other in the parking lot, according to a witness.
A store employee who declined to be identified said the fight started inside the store. It's not clear what prompted the fight between the two women. During the altercation, the employee went into the back of the store to call police.
Ed Downey, a bystander who works in Cinnaminson, said he was driving down Cinnaminson Avenue around 7:30 a.m. and saw two police cars stopped near Wawa and two police cars at the entrance of TD Bank across the street. Downey said he saw a woman in handcuffs.
Wawa employees on the scene deferred all questions to their corporate office.
At 10 a.m. this morning, police tape, cones and soapy water covered the spot where the altercation allegedly occured, right in front of bushes that line Cinnaminson Avenue.
Police have not yet provided additional information about the incident.

The carnival left last week. This wawa is on a major roadway that happens to be a thoroughfare to many towns, that's all.

Tomas I'm sure you are correct because nothing ever happens in Cinnaminson except for the week of the carnival. Oh wait I mean 2 weeks after the carnival.

To blame people who have moved into the Cinnaminson area from Northeast Philadelphia as the cause of this incident is an extremely unfair comment. Most people that I know that have moved to Cinnaminson have greatly improved the houses they have purchased, are paying the real estate taxes and putting their children in a good school district and are very involved with their children’s sports activities, etc. I have worked and lived in this area for over 30 years and have seen the ups and downs of the area especially the route 130 corridor; stores opening – stores closing – and let’s not get into a discussion about the no-tell motels. In the last 10 years the corridor has greatly improved, most people are improving their homes and are involved with their children’s activities and generally care about where they live. You must keep in mind the route 130 is still a very transient area with many types of people coming into the area only to stop at the local Wawa. I really do not know what happened to this person and hope she is okay but to blame this crime on the people that have moved from another area for one person’s crime just shows me how ignorant you are and people like you scare me more than anything. I will put my trust in the Cinnaminson Police department to get to the bottom of this crime.

My family moved to Cinnaminson from the Mainline 46 years ago. But it seemed to me most kids I knew came from families that had lived in Northeast or South Philadelphia. To claim the town is going downhill because people from the NE are bring it down is nuts. People from Philadelphia have been here for a long time.

Animals behaving like animals behave. What kind of people, and women at that, get into a fight in a convenience store, that ends up in a stabbing? You can't blame anyone or anything, other than the two idiots who were involved. Unfortunately, too many people have lost their sense of decorum, and feel no shame when they behave badly.

Well stated KCinCA. I have observed a steady decline in mutual respect, patience, and self control. Nothing to do with previous address, just plain degrgation of society. There is still a lot of hope for the "humans" in Cinnaminson even though there are a few who give the animals a bad name.Life is far too short to be stabbing and shooting one another...Grow up idiots, grow up
