Are you looking for a friend? Are you tired of no one to do activities with? Well listen up folks: If you would like to meet a sweet fella, around 2 years old, and about 50 pounds—we suggest Schmidty. 

He still has the exuberance of a puppy, so structure is very important for him right now. Schmidty would rather hang out with people, not other dogs, so we recommend that he be the only dog in the home.

He has, however, been on walks with other dogs in the shelter and did not seem to be bothered by them. Schmidty has learned sit, and his leash manners have improved dramatically, indicating that he is a smart boy and a willing student. 

Schmidty needs an active family (no small children, since he is still a bit bouncy), willing to invest some time in training exercise and playtime. This affectionate boy will pay you back with a lifetime of fun and love! Check out his video to see his mad ball skills!
