Stolen Classic Car Found in Camden, Says Owner
No visible damage was done, but a mechanic will take a closer look.
The 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible that was stolen outside of the Wine Cellar shortly before noon on the Fourth of July has been found in Camden, according to the owner.
The owner, a Cinnaminson resident, said the car was hotwired. The keys were left in the car, but were under carpeting on the car's console. The owner told Patch that the hotwire was done easily since it was a classic car.
The owner said the rag-top was fine and there were no visible dents in the car. The car is being taken to the owner's mechanic to get a closer look.
The owner did say some items were removed, such as a beach towel, but there wasn't anything of much value in the car.
The trunk lock was punched out, said the owner, but she doesn't think the perpetrators could open it.
The classic car was stolen outside in the parking lot of the Wine Cellar shortly before noon on July 4. The owner said he was inside less than 10 minutes.

Wow, gotta give credit where credit is due. This was a post on the original article. Guess he/she wasn't "just a fool".

Takes less than 5 seconds to pop that ignition. Take a ride through Camden, you might just find it parked on the side of the road. The plates will of course be different, but you might be surprised to find the only damage might be the ignition. Found mine that way. And yes, it was a classic convertible Mustang! Good luck.

Yesterday afternoon, a red toyota was stolen from a driveway on Cinnaminson Ave. Still missing, tags: D60-BRD. Everyone needs to be super careful. I know it's hot as heck, but you cannot turn the air on and walk away from your car for a minute.

I wish you good luck in getting your Toyota back. I doubt the thief is stupid enough to drive it in Cinnaminson but in case they are, which model Toyota and what year? I'll keep my eyes out for you.

It's a darn shame that it has to be that way..............car thiefs have been around for a long time but you'd hope/think that in a town like Cinnaminson you could relax...hahahhahaha, I very careful when a knock is at my door and suspicious of anyone trying to sell me something or asking if I need work done. Awful, isn't it? Can't be too careful though as is evidenced by the thefts and break ins I read about.

Nancy, thank you for reminding us that since you moved here 12 years ago, the good town of Cinnaminson has been going to hell in a hand basket. I can assure you that is not true for the whole town. I do not worry about locking my doors at night; my family never has a problem since we moved here in 1966.

I'm glad this story turned out good for both the car & the owner.

Ric- It was a friend's car, so I'm not sure of the model or year. I agree that the thief probably isn't driving it around town, but you never know. They were foolish enough to leave a WaWa cup with their finger prints in the driveway.

Fingerprints on a Wawa cup. CSI Cinnaminson. Good luck with that. Take a page out of the last owner, and drive through Camden, your chances of finding it will be better.
