Cinnaminson Township’s World War II Veterans

With Veterans Day fresh in our minds, I wonder if anyone reading the Cinnaminson Patch recalls the Cinnaminson Township Honor Roll that once stood at the southwest corner of the Route 130-Riverton Road intersection, adjoining the Westfield Friends’ Meetinghouse grounds. The board listed the name of every man and woman who joined the military from the township during the Second World War. The monument likely disappeared during the late 1940s when the New Jersey State Highway Department cut the new northbound lanes of Route 130/25, circa 1948. My question is whether the name board survives, perhaps stored in a township building or facility somewhere?

Any information about the board’s present whereabouts would be gratefully received.

Best regards,

Jerseyman

I hope it is found. It looks like a beautiful monument. The men and women listed are part of truly America's greatest generation.
