Henry is an adorable and very perky kitten who came to the shelter as a cute little 3-month-old. But months later, he hasn't been adopted yet, and he's on his way to becoming a handsome young cat. Henry is a feisty and outgoing boy who loves to play with toys, people and other cats, and could likely easily adjust to a home with kids and other animals as well. He likes to run around, play, and climb, and this little cage he's in most of the time is just not enough for him! Please visit Henry soon and consider upgrading his pad to one with more square footage (like yours)! Refer to his number C…
This darling of a girl is Lily. She's had a rough start to her life. For an untrained puppy, she is gentle and walks pretty well on the leash. Of course, she will need patient training in the ways of good canine behavior and a puppy kindergarten class is highly recommended. But she is all the wonderful things that puppies are: cute, friendly and energetic. We would like to see this girl start 2012 in a new loving home! Todd is a darling 5- to 6-year-old boy with short gray and white fur and a very pleasant personality. This cute, tubby kitty is very shy here at the shelter and will not greet strangers for attention—even though he LOVES being petted—because he is just too afraid. Todd has been at the shelter longer than every other cat now because nobody can see his loving personality! This sweet boy is very calm and loves to snuggle up in your lap and be petted for hours until he falls asleep, and he would love to find a quiet home of his own where he could do just that! Todd does not seem to mind other …

Ash is a very energetic and friendly young boy, still under a year old. He LOVES to play with toys and is very interested in playing with other cats. What a sweet and wonderful cat! Miles is a five-year-old black and white Manx cat, which means he was born with only a cute little stub of a tail. Miles is a very low-energy, affectionate fellow who adores being petted, and will happily cat-nap through noise and activity around him. He's not bothered by other cats, and would possibly do well even with dogs, other animals, or children. Miles is still waiting for his true forever home, so please come visit him soon and see if you're a match! Please refer to his number C-40187 when contacting the shelter at 609-256-5073.
Rachel's former owner had a lot of good things to write about her dog. She is good with children and other animals, is housebroken, leash-trained and loves toys and attention. Sounds like a great pet, doesn't she? She is 12 years old and weighs 47 pounds. Don't let the fact that she is an adult dog keep you from looking at her. She's done with all that silly puppy stuff and is ready to fit in with your family now! Please refer to her number D-40554 when calling the shelter at 609-265-5073.
Spark is a sweet little 1-year-old girl, and is a complete goofball! Her favorite thing to do is play by herself with toys—any toys, any time. She is shy around people but is a nice little girl with a sweet, happy personality. Adorable Spark might make an especially good pet for somebody who appreciates the idea of a self-entertaining kitty cat, but she could come out of her shell and play with you too! She's a small, thin cat with white and orange striped fur. She's still here at the shelter waiting to find her forever home. Come visit her today and see if you're a match. Please refer to her…
Look at those lovely blue eyes! A young staffie mix of about a year, Toby came to the shelter as a stray. Toby is very friendly, craves attention, and loves to play. He really enjoyed being outside and going for a walk. Toby is very lively, so he's probably not appropriate for families with very small kids, but he LOVES older children, does fine with other dogs, and is a nice young dog for an active family that is willing to invest in some training to get him started right. Please refer to his number D-41786 when contacting the shelter at 609-265-5073.

Angel is a sweet black lab mix who is about 3 years old and weighs 61 pounds. She was adopted from the shelter before, but was unfortunately returned when her former owner took a job with lots of travel hours. This wasn't fair to Angel, so this great girl is up for adoption again! Angel's former owner says she's crate-trained and had started on obedience training. Angel knows "sit" and "down," and likes playing with tennis balls and going for walks. Angel should go to a home without children or other animals, but she'd make a wonderful pet for an adult home. Please visit Angel soon and see if…
Davidson is a very sweet 1 1/2-year-old tabby boy with pretty markings. He was surrendered to the shelter with fellow kitty Harley (C-39378)—who has since been adopted—because his former owner's dog was a cat-chaser. Davidson's former owner says he's known to do well with children, dogs and other cats, and that he's a cautious and shy cat, but that he enjoys playing with strings and balls. They also say he likes catnip, and enjoys high perches where he can look down at everything. Davidson was very nice and friendly with me in the shelter, and enjoyed being petted, brushed and getting love. …

Pets are also victims of the economy, including this sweet boy and his housemate Priscilla (who has already found her forever home). Parker is under 2 years old, weighs around 40 pounds, and is a super-friendly boy who wags his tail for visitors. He's such a lovable dog, but he's been at the shelter longer than most other dogs as of early 2011. Parker's former owner couldn't take care of two dogs and now Parker still needs someone to take care of him. Even though Parker came in with another dog, he is picky about them so he would do best as an only dog. With committed and proper training, …
This very friendly kitty is a cuddler who loves to be held and petted. She did a lot of purring and rolling over during my visit, trying her best to get my attention. She is a very pretty cat with calico-colored medium/long fur, and she may have some Persian in her as well, given her cute little squished-looking face. She is medium-sized, is estimated to be about 3-5 years old, and would simply love for you to come visit her! If you're looking for a cat to snuggle up with and hold, this may be the cutie for you. Please consider adopting this deserving lady. Please refer to her number C-39201…
What a happy dog! Mia is a pretty, white girl with gray patches, around 4 years old, with a perpetual doggy smile on her face. She came to the shelter through no fault of her own. She and her friend Coogi were abandoned (he's already been adopted), but despite her lengthy stay, she's still lively and happy and ready to take a walk and have fun with any of her visitors. Mia's got lots of energy from being cooped up in a kennel for so long, and she's a strong girl, so though she knows "sit," she could use some training. She may not do well in a home with kids or other dogs, but she'd be a great…
