Planning Board Makes Blight Recommendations

The board's decisions were tied to previous discussions regarding redevelopment of the Route 130 corridor in Cinnaminson.

The Cinnaminson Planning Board Tuesday night considered whether certain areas along Route 130—areas they'd already recommended as redevelopment zones—should also be deemed blighted.

The board's determinations were guided by a recent court decision that outlined the parameters for blight. Several properties were deemed blighted (the Azalea farm property, Garden State Inn), while several others (Acme, Speed Raceway, Paula's Restaurant) were not.

Check back with Cinnaminson Patch Wednesday afternoon for a full story about the board's decision, and what impact it could have on redevelopment.
