Buddy Ball Baseball Program Open for Special Needs Players

Medford, NJ - “Buddy Ball” baseball is back! The program is open to special needs players. Each player will have a Shawnee High School baseball player assigned as a “buddy” to help him or her throughout the game. The “buddies” will be introduced to their designated player before the game for practice and warm-ups. There are no balls, no strikes and no outs, and very player will have an opportunity to hit, run around the bases, and score.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Hartford Crossing Baseball Complex (Field #1), located at 125 Church Road in Medford, NJ 08055.

Players will receive jerseys, hats, trophies and a snack, but should bring their own baseball glove. Parents, families and friends are welcome to attend.
