Burlington County College presents 15th Annual Student Art & Design Exhibition and fashion show

The Burlington County College (BCC) Student Art Gallery and BCC art faculty present the finest BCC student art at the 15th Annual Student Art & Design Exhibition, which includes a special informal fashion show, presented by BCC’s fashion design program at the exhibit’s opening on Friday, May 2 at the gallery on 1 High Street.

New to this year’s opening reception, Fashion @ The Gallery will showcase fashion and accessories by BCC fashion design students Megan Devenny, of Delran, Kara Kummer, of Williamstown, Nurten Akgoz, of Deptford, Gwen Doan, of Philadelphia, and Kayla Barnes, of Browns Mills, in an informal fashion show.

Featuring 51 student artists and 124 pieces of artwork, the 15th Annual Student Art & Design Exhibition showcases a student’s best work at BCC. Selected artwork in the following categories will receive awards: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphic design, fashion design and mixed media.

The opening reception, running from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., is free and open to the public. Awards will be presented at 5:45 p.m. The informal fashion show will take place throughout the evening. Light refreshments will be served.

The 15th Annual Student Art & Design Exhibition Exhibit, curated by Jessica Ward, BCC’s Campus Curator, will be on display through Saturday, July 12 during normal gallery hours: Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and the second Saturday of every month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
