Community Offerings Highlight Cinnaminson Day

Cinnaminson Day connects residents with local businesses and groups in town.

Sunday is a day to celebrate all things Cinnaminson at the annual Cinnaminson Day.

Cinnaminson Day occurs noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23 at .

“This event is designed to showcase the businesses here in Cinnaminson, and to make our residents aware of the vast assortment of businesses here in our own town, ready to do business with them,” said organizer John Marshall, township zoning officer.

Attendees can wander through more than 100 tables representing township businesses, schools, sports, churches and community groups (and Cinnaminson Patch!) at the event.

There will be two moon bounces and a “pumpkin patch” for the little ones, plus a station for sand art crafts and tours of the . Local scouting troops will be on hand, and the Brownies will man an Alex’s Lemonade Stand to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Residents also can shred documents for free and jam to the tunes of a DJ.

“The township supplies 2,000 hot dogs, 75 cases of soda, 40 cases of water and 1,200 soft pretzels,” Marshall said of the food offerings.

Still hungry? Local eateries—, , , , , , Goody’s Pizza, , PrimoHoagies, Domino's Pizza, , the , and Jersey Mike’s—will hand out samples as well.

The forecast for Cinnaminson Day is so far, so good. It looks to be perfect fall weather at 62 degrees and sunny.
