Lutheran To Present Site Plans Tonight for Cinnaminson Home

Tonight may be the public's last chance to voice their concerns.

Professionals associated with the Lutheran Social Ministries project that would turn the old Cinnaminson Home into will present preliminary and final site plans to the zoning board tonight.

Early last month, the State House Commission approved the township's request to remove the vacant home on Riverton Road off the . Cinnaminson had filed the request, called a diversion, and Lutheran's plan were contingent upon the state's approval.

Potentially, tonight is the public's last chance to voice their concerns over the project. Over the last several months, neighbors in the area had complained about draining problems, the size of the building and even the tenants who would be living there.

Specific issues such as stormwater management and parking will be discussed during the preliminary and final site plan approval.

Lutheran is proposing a 54-unit affordable apartment building reserved for senior citizens. Recent adjustments to sites plans included adding more parking spaces, which zoning board members and members of the public suggested, and lowering the size of the roof four feet.
