Huge Oak Tree Falls on Cinnaminson Home

A 60-foot tree demolished part of a Laurel Drive home on Tuesday.

It was not a happy arrival home for one Cinnaminson homeowner on Tuesday as he encountered a tree that smashed into his house while he was out.

Jim Screnci arrived at his home on Laurel Drive to find that a 60-foot oak tree on his property had fallen right through the left side of his home. The tree severely damaged the roof and destroyed the garage, as well as badly damaged the left side of the house.

Screnci’s son, Jim, said that police were called to the scene, but fortunately there were no injuries as no one was home at the time the tree fell. He said that no one has any idea exactly how the tree fell.
