Summer Concert Series Kicks Off in Cinnaminson Thursday Night

Cinnaminson's Summer Concert Series kicks off Thursday night, June 26, with a performance of children's music by Steve Pullara and Cool Beans.

Pullara won a Grammy Award for his album "All About Bullies ... Big and Small," and is working on an album for release in August.

Shows take place at Wood Park in Cinnaminson, and are sponsored by the Cinnaminson Park and Recreation Department. Performances are set for 7 p.m.-9 p.m. each Thursday.

The schedule for the rest of the summer is as follows, according to the township website:

July 10: To the Max (Motown Tribute)
July 17: High Noone Express (Country)
July 24: RB Express (Doo Wop)
July 31: Sexy Sadie Band (Beatles Tribute)
Aug. 7: Shaun Ruymen (Contemporary Pop)
Aug. 14: Carl Letterie Quartet (Jazz)
Aug. 21: Second Time Around (Classic Rock)

The musicians are usually pretty good. It is a nice community event. A chance to mingle with neighbors, let the kids play on the play ground equipment and enjoy some music.
