Cinnaminson Restaurant Feeding Families for 20 Years

'A lot of my customers were kids. Now they come in with kids,' says D'Angelo's Pizzeria owner Maurizio Randazzo.

In today's turbulent economic times, 20 years of being in business is nothing to sneeze at.

Maurizio Randazzo, owner of the eponymous Maurizio's Ristorante and D'Angelo's Pizzeria, both in Mainline Shopping Center, is celebrating the latter's 20th anniversary this year.

Randazzo, a native of Sicily, said he's been in the restaurant business for 34 years, working his way up from "getting my hands dirty" as a dishwasher and doing prep in the kitchen, to now running his own businesses. He previously operated a pizzeria in Pennsauken.

"When I started (D'Angelo's), I had some experience," he said. "Now I have a lot more experience."

Randazzo, a Moorestown resident, said his loyal customers, above all, are what keep him in business.

"I see the same faces. For 20 years, they've supported me," he said. "A lot of my customers were kids (when they started coming in). Now they come in with kids."

Of course, D'Angelo's daily specials—$3.99 hoagies on Monday, $14.95 for a five-course meal Sunday through Thursday, two large pizzas for $17.95 any day of the week—as well as fresh-baked garlic knots and other homemade specials, help too.

A testament to its popularity, D'Angelo's (and Maurizio's) is ranked as one of Cinnaminson's best restaurants based on Yelp! reviews.

The restaurant is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12-10 p.m. Sunday. Call 856-829-1445 for more information or to make a reservation, or to book the restaurant for catering.

Michael, you summed it up nicely. Maurice's creations are awesome and served with a smile. Hope Maurice is around for many more years to come!

I love the shredded sausage they put on the pizza. My all time favorite pizza is their large pie with pepperoni and 2 extras of sausage. The crust is thin and crisp just like it should be. I think I just talked myself into one for tomorrow.

Been there on several occasions. A fine dining experience each time.

Try the white pie with portobello mushrooms and chicken. Could eat the whole pie myself. Very good.
