The public is invited to come out Thursday the 23rd from 5:00 – 8:00 PM to the Friendly’s in Burlington to support the Liberty Lake Foundation for Youth.

The Liberty Lake Foundation was created to help give children from all financial and cultural backgrounds the opportunity to experience Summer Camp, and grow into happy, successful, competent adults who contribute to 21st century society.

On the evening of 2/23, 10% of all proceeds will go directly to the Liberty Lake Foundation’s “campership” (scholarship) program, as well as to help fund other youth serving initiatives and organizations.

For over 11 years, Liberty Lake has been at the forefront of youth development in our local communities, providing a safe haven of experiential education, growth and leadership opportunities for hundreds of young people every summer.  The Liberty Lake Foundation believes that children are our most precious resource and that all children deserve to be nurtured and encouraged to reach their fullest potential. Outcomes research has shown explicitly that the skills learned in a Summer Camp setting are a vital part of the learning experience. Besides improving social skills, it is now proven that children who attend Camp return to school in September scoring higher on tests and graduate at higher rates than their peers.

We hope that you will join us Thursday the 23rd at Friendly’s to support our foundation.
