Speed Raceway, the go-kart facility that now occupies the former Vanity Fair location in the Acme shopping center, was scheduled to open last week but has been pushed back a couple more weeks, said the spot's manager.
Manager Brandon Whiting, the former Philadelphia Eagle and current Haddonfield resident, said they are still waiting for final state certification.
"We are trying to open as soon as possible," Whiting said.
He hopes Speed Raceway will be ready in two weeks but there is no solid opening date at this point.
Speed Raceway's original location is in Denver, Colorado. This year, a location opened in Horsham, PA. The indoor facility is entirely electric with European-style go-karts. Conference and meeting rooms will be available.
Place is going to be AWESOME! Can't wait!
Either way, the place looks like it will be very neat.
Now if John did his homework or read any story Christina has written on the Patch about the go cart place, he will realize that testimony from the owners revealed the cops were never once called to the Denver location and that is a major city. I appreciate honestly all the livelong day. But you're mistaking ignorance for honestly. Are you or John happy about anything that happens in town? Are you the same Ric who I would see talking about sidewalks at televised township committee meetings. You haven't been back in a while.
Yet you whine your poor pitiful head off if I say anything back to you. I was so tempted to laugh at you contradiction when you remarked that you (a Philadelphian) did not want Philadelphians living in Cinnaminson. In fact I saw someone actually did that but it flew over your head. Frannie make up your mind. Either ignore me or stop whining like a child when I respond to your attacks. It is time for you to manup.
And Eric, you are too fun to ignore :)
Please stick to the story and don't get off on tangents with name-calling. It's very unbecoming and I will shut down commenting here if it continues.
