The Math-only learning center teaches Math to students in grades 2-12 in a "way that makes sense to them."

A Math-only learning center opens in Cinnaminson on Saturday.

The grand opening for the Mathnasium is Saturday morning, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.

The Mathnasium will be located in the Shoppes at Cinnaminson on Route 130 and Cinnaminson Avenue. It specializes in teaching Math to students in grades 2-12 in what Mathnasium's owners call "a way that makes sense to them."

Owner/Director Sarah Scanlan tutored family and friends in math when she was growing up. She graduated from St. Joseph's University and went into accounting, according to her profile on mathnasium.com.

She discovered Mathnasium in August and decided to join the team shortly thereafter.

The owners will be on site at the grand opening, and there will be free food, prizes and games, as well as giveaways throughout the day.
