MedExpress to Open Wednesday; Soft Opening, Ribbon-Cutting Today

MedExpress, the urgent care facility in the former Hollywood Video location in Mainline Center, is holding a grand opening celebration today. It will officially open to the public Wednesday. 

The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony slated for 1 p.m.

MedExpress' model is "somewhere between a primary care physician and an emergency room," said Steve DeLozier, vice president of operations for MedExpress, in a November 2012 article for Cinnaminson Patch.

“People need medical care when they least expect it,” DeLozier said.

The facility will be equipped with x-ray machines and IVs and treat anything from lacerations to asthma attacks to the flu.

MedExpress also offers treatment for workplace injury and job-related medical medical issues to employers and their employees through its CorporateCare program, according to the company.  

DeLozier said the plan to open in Cinnaminson was easy, calling the township a community "on the upswing."

"We knew we were definitely going to expand in New Jersey,” DeLozier said. “Cinnaminson is part of what we saw as a great community for MedExpress. It’s a population that might be underserved.”

Starting Wednesday, MedExpress will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. It's located at 1210 Route 130 North, Suite 1438. The phone number is 856-829-0407.
