Yoga Studio Set to Reopen

Only days after Yogawood ended its 2 1/2-year run in Riverton, its replacement, YogaTree, will hold its grand opening this weekend.

Anxious Yogawood fans won't need to wait long for their next fix, as the popular yoga studio's replacement, YogaTree, is set to open this weekend.

Yogawood owner Beth Filla announced in November plans to close the Riverton location and focus on Yogawood’s other location in Collingswood. Yogawood held its last class last week.

YogaTree owner Lynn Horan, a former student and teacher at Yogawood, said she's excited to launch the new business and has planned two open houses for this weekend: the first from 12-4 p.m. Saturday, April 6, and another from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7.

Horan, a longtime Cinnaminson resident, spent a few years in Chicago recently, but after moving back, joined Yogawood last year to practice and teach.

“It’s a really nice yoga community with wonderful teachers and wonderful students,” Horan said.
