Cinnaminson Day 2012

Cinnaminson Day was held this year on September 30, 2012. The weather was threatening, but held off, and offered Cinnaminson a great fall day!

We had four hours from 12 to 4 p.m. to enjoy the day at the park. As we approached there were a gathering of fire and police apparatus, you could see up close what the equipment looked like. It was very impressive to say the least.

After taking pictures, I couldn't wait to see the first tables. All the businesses offered a gift with their names on them. These items had the businesses names imprinted as a reminder to support them during the year. There were pencils, keychains, bags, notepads, stickers, pens, etc.

Some of the businesses offered water, apples, cookies, candy, pretzels, and even bags filled with goodies! The food was free and what a variety! Hot dogs, pretzels, pizza, soda, pasta, hoagies, and more. What else is there!

How about the dancers on the basketball court, the DJ and the music, the corn field, kid's face painting, sand art, the slide, Cinnaminson school sports shirts, the lawn signs, the Speedway car, the demonstrations from the fire department and don't forget Sparky, the emergency department demonstrations and the Cinnaminson police D.A.R.E. car.
