"The Bird is the Word!"

I know there are a lot of you out there who are into bird watching. Have I got an opportunity for you!

This Saturday, Nov. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m., in conjunction with the PCWA's 48th annual meeting, you can meet local bird expert Mark Pensiero. Mark will be taking us along the trails by the creek to point out some of our local birds, and will give us some pointers on what to watch and listen for when birding on your own.

The weather is supposed to be gorgeous, there will be refreshments, prize drawings, a nature scavenger hunt and other activities for kids - and it's FREE! So bring your binoculars and your sense of adventure out to Riverton Park this Saturday - it's sure to be a great day for you and your family!
