Pancreatic Cancer: The Silent Killer

I want to bring more awareness about of pancreatic cancer. Sometimes people being informed could mean life or death.

So I want to try and bring more awareness about of pancreatic cancer. I bet most people don't even know where or what the pancrea does?

One thing is you can't live without it. And I really wish I didn't have to know about any of it either. But on 08/27/12, my husband of 17 years was diagnosed with stage 3 inoperable pancreatic cancer. And it has turned our whole families lives upside down.

It's been a very long very difficult 4 month journey for our family. My husband gets treatment at Fox Chase over in Philly. I have watched my strong, very energetic husband become very frail and run down.

Are we are fighting this fight and we will NOT give up. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. But more awareness needs to be brought about of pancreatic cancer. Continue to stay POSITIVE and keep the HOPE.
