County Website Feature Gives Residents a Voice

In an effort to make government officials more accessible, the county has added a new comment feature to its website.

Have something to say to Burlington County officials? Now there’s an easy way to do it.

The county website now has a new electronic comment form, located in the website footer at the bottom of each page of the county website (in the lower lefthand corner look for “Comments Form”). The new form will allow residents to more easily provide comments and feedback to the county government.

“This effort to communicate with our residents in a more direct and effective manner is another component to our transparency plan,” said Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly. “The new comment form will make our county government more accessible and make it easier for residents to learn more about the many programs and services we offer.”

Donnelly added that the online comment form will allow the county to provide residents with expedient responses to their comments.

In addition to the comment form, a “Transparent Burlington County” link has already been added to the front page of the county website. This link allows residents to search and view important county documents online.

Donnelly urged all Burlington County residents to visit the county website or the county’s new Facebook page for information and updates.
