Why Go: Bring the family (and some binoculars) for this hands-on hike at the Palmyra Cove. Check out all the plants and animals this gem in our backyard has to offer.

Why Go: Peaches come from a can, they were put there by a man. But before the can, they grew...on trees. This peach festival showcases peaches in all the best forms: cakes, pies, ice cream and more.  

Pricing: $5 for adults, $3 for kids, free for kids under 4

Why Go: Stores are open later, local artists show their work, live music on the street. And, the temperature is supposed to be 86.
