Oldies, Doo-Wop Featured in Tonight's Park Concert with R&B Express

R&B Express bring their 40s, 50s and 60s singing style to Wood Park.

Popular local doo-wop group R&B Express will bring their oldies style to tonight in the next summer concert series the township presents.

These five guys—three from New Jersey—have performed with Frankie Lymon's Teenagers, Little Anthony and the Imperials, the Dimensions and many more. They've made appearances in movies and on television and frequently play down the shore.

This summer, they've been singing at private events, summer concerts and festivals up and down the state and into New York.

R&B Express are: Ernie Lackey (bass), Mike DelFranco (first tenor), Rick Davis (lead vocals), Pat Moschetto (baritone), and Ray Block (second tenor). 

Tonight's show begins at 7 p.m. near the gazebo in Wood Park. In case of rain, the show will be moved indoors to .
