Palmyra Switches Animal Control Officers
A month after three rabid animals were found in the borough, Palmyra entered into a shared service with Willingboro.
Borough officials in Palmyra recently entered into a shared services agreement with Willingboro Township for its animal control services.
Effective Sept. 17, Willingboro's animal control officers and animal cruelty investigators will be responsible for handling animal control in Palmyra.
According to a recent news release, representatives from both towns say this will be an "easy transition as Willingboro currently supplies animal control services for numerous towns and has an excellent track record."

Palmyra most recently used M & R Wildlife as its animal control officers, the same group Cinnaminson uses. It is unknown why the borough switched.
