Update: Power Outages Reported, Two Traffic Lights Out

The 45-minute storm left its mark in Cinnaminson

Update 10 p.m.

The sky is still being illuminated by cracks of lightning about two hours after the rains stopped in Burlington County. Rain started back up again around 9:40 and lasted for about 15 minutes.

As of 9:30 p.m., the traffic lights at Branch Pike and Pomona Road and at Lenola and Forklanding roads were out and police officers were directing traffic.

The ramp to Route 130 North off Route 73 North is closed. Cinnaminson Patch heard reports that lightning hit a traffic light but that has yet to be confirmed.

Also as of 9:30 p.m., the power is out in all of Cinnamin Crossing I. Several residents were outside on Derby Drive and confirmed those reports. It also appeared that power was out in Cinnamin Crossing II.

According to our Facebook followers, power is out on parts of Meetinghouse Road, Windsor Drive, St. Charles Place and Shenandoah Road.

A storm ripped through New Jersey this evening leaving limbs and leaves, flooding (mosly minor) and power outages in the triboro area.

NJ.com is reporting at least 25,000 are without power in New Jersey, according to utility companies. 

An email from a reader said power is out on the 2300 block of Lenola Road. A Twitter follower said the power was out for about 20 minutes on Pomona Road. Another reader said the power is out at .

Cinnaminson Patch has heard a report the traffic light at Lenola and Forklanding Road is out.
