As of Wednesday at 5 p.m., the National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly was calling for the storm to drop between 1 and 4 inches of snow in Burlington County.

"It looks to us like it's going to snow," NWS meteorologist Walter Drag said. "We just don't know how much yet. It looks to us like somewhere in the 1- to 4-inch range."

Mayor Ben Young said the department of public works is preparing though. Brining has been done to township streets—a process that speeds along the melting process on the roadways.

The plows will come out if the snowfall is at least three inches, Young said, but township officials will monitor the weather closely so plowing isn't done too early.

The snow, which Drag described as "fluffy," is expected to start Friday afternoon and last through Friday night.

Temperatures are not expected to top the freezing point in Cinnaminson again until Sunday, when the high temperature is expected to be 33 degrees, but could hit 50 by mid-week.
