A tornado warning has been issued for Burlington and Camden counties until 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Mt. Holly.

At 6:29 p.m., doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Bellmawr and Gloucester City, both in Camden County. The storm was moving northeast at 15 MPH.

The National Weather Service's website says the safest place to be during a tornado is in a basement. If no basement is available, seek shelter on the lowest floor of the building in an interior hallway or closet.
