Year in Review: Life in Cinnaminson in 2011

We already brought you the year in news for , and news. Now it’s time to recap “the rest,” the news that doesn’t neatly fit into any one category but, when added together, paints a picture of the year in Cinnaminson life in 2011.

The year started with promising to pump new life into its Route 130 location. The , , shutting its doors in April to the . Cinnaminson does have a new in town though and kids found their .

Sticking with the business side of things, Cinnaminson welcomed , a , , and Korean restaurants, and prepared for to open. its Cinnaminson location, , while the redone Villari’s got a , two ShopRite employees got their and a may come to town. Service station owners , and the township .

On the police and crime front, rocked early in the year, complaints surfaced again about crime during the annual , no one is lining up to give mother-of-the-year awards, Route 130 was named the state’s for pedestrians (and a woman died shortly thereafter in a ), an alleged robber has a , a DJ reportedly as he was spinning tunes at a school dance, Cinnaminson’s TD Bank and a Cinnaminson man helped police find three women accused of .

Cinnaminson also showed off its altruistic side in 2011. A their new just in time for the holidays, a resident pushed , do-gooders cleaned up , sisters for charity, students in need went back to school with a high school senior , residents were during a holiday drive for neighbors and local Girl Scouts .

In one of the more "makes you feel great to live here" stories of 2011, Cinnaminson supporters turned out in droves to  Army Specialist  from Iraq.
