Candidate Tom MacArthur Announces Supporters for Third Congressional District Election

MacArthur received the support of Cinnaminson Mayor Anthony Minniti, Deputy Mayor John McCarthy and committee members Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Donald Brauckman and William "Ben" Young.

Conservative businessman Tom MacArthur announced the support of 160 elected officials in his bid for the Third Congressional District seat, including Council Republicans in Burlington County.

"I am thrilled by this level of grassroots support for my candidacy," MacArthur said in a press release issued Tuesday afternoon. "These elected officials are not only leaders in our party, but are leaders in their communities. These endorsements carry tremendous weight and I look forward to working alongside everyone towards victory in June and November."

MacArthur received the support of Cinnaminson Mayor Anthony Minniti, Deputy Mayor John McCarthy and committee members Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Donald Brauckman and William "Ben" Young.

MacArthur, the mayor of Randolph Township in Morris County, is seeking the nomination for the seat currently held by Jon Runyan, who served two terms in Congress and is retiring this year.

Multiple Republicans are seeking to fill Runyan’s seat, including former Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan, who lost to Cory Booker in last year’s special election for the U.S. Senate, and State Sen. Christopher Connors.
