Democratic Candidate Drops Out of Committee Race

Matthew Paterno, who was challenging Committeewoman Kathy Fitzpatrick, recently resigned his candidacy.

Democratic candidate Matthew Paterno has dropped out of the race for township committee.

The 25-year-old had planned to challenge Republican incumbent Kathy Fitzpatrick, who is seeking her third term, but had to resign his candidacy for personal reasons, he stated in an email to Patch.

With Paterno out, Fitzpatrick is unchallenged in her bid for a committee seat.
