"Aquaponics: Modern Farming's Return to Nature" with Alex Kosis

"Aquaponics: Modern Farming's Return to
Nature" with Alex Kosis will be the program at the monthly Horticultural Society
of South Jersey meeting on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Carmen
Tilelli Community Center, 820 Mercer Street, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Alex will
share what he has learned when he turned his part-time love of gardening into a
top priority aquaponic gardening venture. The program will cover what aquaponics
is, how it can be used to solve some of today's food problems, and a case study
about his own aquaponics farm. The space, time, and energy-saving aspects of
aquaponics, when compared to traditional farming and garden methods, have been a
perfect fit into Alex's new rural, sustainable life that he continues to build
in South Jersey.  Free and open to the public.
