National Novel Writing Month: The Critical First Page

It’s Time to Write That Novel!

You have a story inside you, don’t you? Maybe it’s a science
fiction novel. Maybe it’s a memoir. Maybe it’s a romance or an inspirational
story. Whatever your story is, it’s time to put it into words, perhaps even
50,000 of them.

The South Jersey Writer’s Group and NaNoWriMo, the world’s
largest writing event and nonprofit literary crusade, have teamed up to help
you do exactly that! November is National Novel Writing Month, and Cinnaminson
Library is hosting several events in support of this program. The first thing
you want to do is to go to the NaNoWriMo website and sign up as a novelist.
After that, call Cinnaminson Library to register for our NaNoWriMo events to
help keep you focused and inspired.

These workshops will be conducted by published authors from
the South Jersey Writer’s Group.  You do
not have to be participating in NaNoWriMo to attend the workshops, but it will
add to the fun. The NaNoWriMo program begins on November 1st ends on November
30th.
