Cinnaminson Alum Competes to Become Phillies Ball Girl

Vote now to help Valerie Miller land a job as Phillies ball girl for the 2014 season. Voting is open until 7 p.m.

A Cinnaminson High School alum is thisclose to landing a job as a ball girl for the Philadelphia Phillies next year—and you can help her get it.

Valerie Miller is one of three young women competing for the coveted job. Voting is open until 7 p.m. Friday (Dec. 13). You can cast your vote for Valerie through Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #Phinal3Valerie. The winner will be announced immediately after the polls close.

In a video interview posted on the Phillies website, Miller describes herself as a passionate and dedicated softball player and fan. She played softball for both Cinnaminson and Holy Family University.

She also talks about some of her charity work in the video, saying, "I try to do my best to look out for people. I really care about people a lot."
