DOGS AND CATS HIDE IN CAR ENGINES AND WHEEL WELLS…

Hello, Patch Pet Lovers!

Imagine being so cold outside, the only heat source you find is in a car's engine or on the tires… and to avoid the harsh winds and rain or snowfall, you hide underneath a vehicle… well, that's the only shelter some animals have.

PLEASE be sure to bang on the hood of your car, close your door really hard, and/or honk your horn BEFORE starting your engine… to ensure any sleeping animals are alerted.

I have seen some graphic photos of injuries and body parts severed as a result of animals sleeping in vehicles, and many are run over and killed from hiding underneath.  : (

Hoping everyone is having a purrrfectly safe and warm snowy week!
